Evergreen Fabrics in San Diego set out to donate collected clothes to Sharia’s Closet

On Saturday, August 6th, Evergreen Fabrics in San Diego set out to donate collected clothes to Sharia’s Closet, a nonprofit organization in San Diego designed to help underprivileged people in San Diego by providing good quality, secondhand clothes.

Evergreen Fabrics had been collecting gently used clothing items from consumers, employees, and the local neighborhood for several weeks. Their efforts were motivated by a deep desire to give back and help those in need. The response from the community was phenomenal as the donation drive progressed, with bags and boxes of clothes coming in.

August 6th marked the day when Evergreen Fabrics would deliver the culmination of their efforts to Sharia’s Closet. With a truck loaded to the brim with clothes of all sizes, styles, and colors, the team set off on their journey to the organization’s headquarters.

Upon their arrival at Sharia’s Closet, they were warmly greeted by the dedicated staff and volunteers who had been working tirelessly to serve the community. Sharia’s Closet was more than just a place where clothes were gathered and distributed; it was a place where individuals in need might find dignity and hope. Every item provided would end up in the hands of someone who would treasure it and find solace in it.

The spirit of community and solidarity showed clearly in this clothing drive. Evergreen Fabrics and Sharia’s Closet had joined together to create a wave of good that would touch many people’s lives, inspiring others to join in and make the world a better place, one donation at a time.
